A new Mookata spot in Pai or maybe just new to me. The 269 THB/person price is a bit on the higher side, but overall, the food is clean, the space is big, and there’s plenty of parking. They also have live music and free WiFi.

This place is so much fun you gotta try it! It was my first time experiencing a restaurant quite like this. The staff get your coal bbq going, add your broth( the broth in the kettle is chicken but I’m sure they would accommodate non meat eaters and give just water or another broth) to start it heating up and you go gather your greens and other ingredients, tofu, egg, seafood, big variety of meats and lots of options for vegetarians and pescatarians. There’s lots of sauces and even a station for you to chop and grind up your own seasoning mixes complete with a mortar and pestle. Then you grill and simmer your food and there’s premade rices and noodles to choose from. There’s also a variety of sushi ready to go, and lots of desserts and drink options. The setting is beautiful and families will appreciate how spacious it is and the big jungle gym playground for the kids. It’s totally worth the price and would make a great group activity but it’s lots of fun solo too.

Amazing! I didn’t understand what it really was at first so let me break it down for anyone else who is new. It’s the Thai version of a Korean BBQ restaurant. The difference is that in Thailand they provide a fire that is natural and they part that goes on it can grill your food, boil it or both, as the set up has space for water on the outside edge. You should add the water right away, the tea pot kettle will be on the side of your table. Basically you have to set up everything besides the fire unless you ask for help. Now the food is unlimited, again the difference between Korean BBQ and Thai BBQ is that you go grab the meats you’d like along with your side dishes. You don’t have to ask anyone or wait for anything. They have all sorts of meats from seafood, beef to pork. I don’t eat pork by the way and there were still sooo many options. There is a full salad bar. There are all sorts of sides like fried rice, pad Thai & sushi. Of course they also have deserts, but most importantly, don’t miss out on the ice cream. The white one that seems like vanilla? OMG! It’s called Hokkaido and it’s AMAZING! I had 3 cones The staff was also very helpful, I let them know that it was my first time and then I do not eat pork, and they showed me everything. I need to know and told me everything I couldn’t eat. Keep in mind you will be outside just covered from above. For the price of ฿269, you honestly can’t go wrong.

Amazing food and such good value for money. Just want to say that the staff there were incredible. I can only speak English and they were soooo great. Really good English and so clear and patient and helpful. Also loved the live music.

We had no clue what to expect and never had Thai BBQ before, but it was a really good experience. So many food options and a kind lady who works there explained a lot about it which was also very nice. Would recommend :)

Yummy Thai bbq no complaints.. higher quality meats and seafood justifies the price. Good service as well.
